Do you need a Language Tutor?
Aurora Fibla, teacher, tutor.
As an English teacher in early childhood, I have seen English learners struggling with a foreign language that they must use to read and write, but they have five years of English disadvantage when getting to school.
As a Spanish tutor, I see students struggling with their Spanish learning process at different levels. They, as well, struggle with a language that escapes them. The link among them is the difficulties of dealing with an elusive language they must understand to communicate.
The solution? I don't have the right one for all because every learner is different, but exposure is key, and the sooner, the better, through a conversation, a song, a poem, or a short reading.
My teaching philosophy? Every person can learn if teachers discover what motivates them. My tutoring style? Creating empathy with students.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in French Language from the University of Havana with several trainings in France and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada, where I live. I am a tutor, a teacher, and a translator. I speak English and French, and my native language is Spanish. These languages will be the link to communicate and learn through My Lingua Link.
